New Boston Property Management Local Activities Look what's happening this month?
What has happened this year? Past Events & FYI Tenant Appreciation Day 2010 -- The 10th annual Tenant Appreciation Day was observed on May 14 to show the agency's appreciation for all the wonderful residents. The 50's theme was a highlight that set the stage for games and prizes. Special guests included Superintendent of Operations Mark Mayo, City Secretary Karen Lightfoot, City Attorney Mike Brock, Board of Commissioners Chairman Jeanita McIntyre and Commissioner Ruth Otwell. Between the traditional Bingo game and the catered lunch from the Management staff, everyone had a wonderful time. Management and staff extends its appreciation to our residents and what they do for our community. Thanksgiving Baskets 2009 -- Just before Thanksgiving, the Resident Advisory Board received non-perishable food items from the residents in order to give them to local residents. On November 19, approximately 350 food items were distributed to 17 families. Many of these recipients were elderly or single moms with small children. Seven residents volunteered to sort, make baskets, fill those baskets and distribute the goods. Great thanks goes to our residents who give so much of themselves to make their neighborhoods such a great place to live. Education Economic Self-Sufficiency (ESS) Class -- Monthly classes are held at the Activity Room of the central office of the Property Management at 303 Rice Street, New Boston for both residents and local citizens.
